A Ted Lasso Stop in Richmond

f you’ve watched Ted Lasso, The Prince’s Head in Richmond may look familiar. The pub was used as the exterior of the fictional Crown & Anchor, where Ted and the AFC Richmond crew often gathered.

We stopped here for dinner while visiting Richmond, and it was fun seeing one of the show’s recognizable filming locations in person. Inside, you’ll find a Believe sign, AFC Richmond memorabilia, and plenty of Greyhound spirit.

Dinner at The Prince’s Head

The Ted Lasso connection may have brought us here, but the food was great too. We really enjoyed our dinner, and the pub still feels like a genuine Richmond neighborhood spot rather than a restaurant built around the show.

You can sit down for a good meal, enjoy the atmosphere, and spot a few reminders of Ted Lasso along the way.

Richmond Green

The Prince’s Head sits beside Richmond Green, another familiar setting for Ted Lasso fans. The area is lovely to walk around, with historic buildings, neighborhood streets, and a relaxed atmosphere.

But Richmond is worth visiting even if you aren’t a Ted Lasso fan. It feels removed from the busier parts of central London and is a beautiful place to spend a few hours walking, exploring, and stopping for a meal.

Is The Prince’s Head Worth Visiting?

For Ted Lasso fans, absolutely. Seeing the real-life Crown & Anchor was a fun part of our visit.

But I wouldn’t come to Richmond just for the filming location. The great food, Richmond Green, and the character of the neighborhood made the entire area worth visiting on its own.
