Sites Included on the Boleto Turístico del Cusco

With the Full Ticket (Boleto Integral) you get access to 16 different attractions over 10 days. Here is a link from their website. These include major Inca ruins around Cusco and the Sacred Valley, as well as several museums and cultural centers:

Archaeological Sites

• Sacsayhuamán – the massive fortress above Cusco.
• Q’enqo – sacred ceremonial site with rock carvings and caves.
• Puka Pukara – small red stone fortress.
• Tambomachay – “Inca Baths,” with aqueducts and water features.
• Pisac – vast terraces and ruins overlooking the Sacred Valley.
• Ollantaytambo – monumental fortress and terraces.
• Chinchero – village with Inca terraces and colonial church.
• Moray – circular agricultural terraces.
• Tipón – impressive water engineering site, known as the Temple of Water.
• Pikillaqta – pre-Inca Wari ruins.

The ticket does not include some of Cusco’s most important attractions, which require separate entry:

• Museo Inka (Inca Museum)
• Museo de Arte Precolombino (MAP)
• Machu Pichu Museum in Cusco
• Cusco Cathedral (and the Temple of San Blas, usually included with the cathedral ticket)

Is the Boleto Turístico Worth It?

One of the most common questions travelers ask is whether the Boleto Turístico is really worth the money. The short answer is yes — if you plan to see more than one circuit.

For example, the nearby Cusco ruins (Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay) are only available on the Partial Ticket Circuit I, which costs S/. 70 (~$18–20 USD) and is valid for just one day. If you also want to see museums like the Museo Histórico Regional or the Museo de Sitio Qorikancha, you’d need Partial Ticket Circuit II, which costs another S/. 70. That means visiting just six sites across the two circuits already costs S/. 140 (~$37 USD).

By comparison, the Full Boleto Turístico costs S/. 130 (~$34 USD) and gives you access to all 16 attractions over ten days. It not only saves you money, but also gives you more time and flexibility to explore the Sacred Valley (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Moray, Chinchero) and the South Valley (Tipón, Pikillaqta).

The only case where the full pass might not be worth it is if you’re in Cusco for a very short stay and only plan to see a single circuit. Otherwise, it pays for itself quickly.

Student Discounts

If you’re a student, don’t forget your ISIC card or university student ID. With valid student identification, the cost of the boleto drops significantly, making it an even better deal. Many travelers miss out on this savings simply because they didn’t bring their student ID with them.
