Aperitivo Stop at Pasticceria Treffiletti

Aperitivo Stop at Pasticceria Treffiletti

Before our dinner at Café Ristorante President, we stopped at Pasticceria Treffiletti, a charming little bar and pastry shop dating back to 1950. The tiled façade and cozy atmosphere immediately drew us in, and it turned out to be the perfect place for an evening aperitivo.

We ordered a classic Aperol Spritz and a local Sicilian beer, which were served with a bowl of chips and complimentary slices of pizza. The pizza had the most wonderful crust — airy with little bubbles, just the way it should be.

Inside, the cases were filled with every kind of Sicilian sweet you could imagine: buttery cookies, biscotti, pastries, and colorful trays of gelato and granita. It was a feast for the eyes as much as for the taste buds.

This little stop was a super fun aperitivo experience and a great reminder of how much Sicilians value hospitality and tradition.
