Review of Grand Hyatt Athens

We recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt. While it’s not located in the heart of the city’s main attractions, it’s only about a 10-minute taxi ride away. The hotel offers modern facilities, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

One of the highlights of Grand Hyatt Athens was the restaurant and bar, which boasts stunning views of the Acropolis. I paid extra for a room with an Acropolis view, but in hindsight, I wouldn’t do that again. The view was only visible from the balcony—you couldn’t see it from inside the room.

The hotel staff helped arrange a van for our airport and port transfers, which made transportation seamless. I highly recommend using their assistance for taxis to and from the airport.

The first night during our stay, we also dined at a lovely family-owned restaurant nearby, Fagopoti, which I would definitely recommend. Read their reviews on Trip Advisor.

Overall, the Grand Hyatt Athens offers a comfortable stay with great service, though its location and the room view setup are things to consider when booking.
