Staying at Casa San Blas in Cusco: A Charming Boutique Hotel in the Heart of San Blas

If you’re looking for a boutique hotel in Cusco that combines history, comfort, and a perfect location, Casa San Blas should be at the top of your list. During my stay, this little gem in the San Blas neighborhood completely won me over.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. We were greeted with a warm smile and a hot cup of coca tea — a thoughtful touch that’s perfect for adjusting to Cusco’s high altitude.

The lobby itself has a special surprise: an authentic Inca stone wall, a striking reminder of the city’s incredible history.

Our room was spacious and unique, featuring a loft layout that gave us a cozy, home-like feel. From our windows, we enjoyed beautiful views of Cusco’s rooftops.

The hotel’s location in San Blas couldn’t be better. Known for its narrow cobblestone streets, artisan shops, and vibrant energy, San Blas is one of Cusco’s most charming neighborhoods — and staying right in the middle of it meant we could explore on foot with ease.
Casa San Blas also served a delicious daily breakfast, and the on-site restaurant offered dinner service — a convenient option after a long day of sightseeing.

The rooms were impeccably clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They even picked us up from the airport which was a wonderful way to arrive into Cusco.
I can confidently say that I would highly recommend Casa San Blas to anyone visiting Cusco. I would absolutely stay here again — and next time, I’ll be just as excited to sip coca tea in the lobby, admire that Inca wall, and take in the views from the rooftop terrace.
