Hiking Trails in Sedona Arizona

Cathedral Rock vortex Trail – 1.3 mile hiking trail (11 minutes from Condo). The Cathedral Rock Parking lot was full. We tried to find the Sedona hiking shuttle lot and Couldn’t find it and parked in the Little Horse parking lot. We walked to Cathedral rock and found a hiking trail that took us back under the road to Little Horse Trail parking lot. There are a lot of hiking trails in this area in Sedona Arizona.

Devils Bridge Trail – 2 mile hiking trail 28 minutes from condo closer to sedona. This trail is beautiful but so busy we decided not to do it on this trip

Bell Rock vortex 8 minutes from condo. We walked to Bell Rock Trail. Beautiful hike in the red rock formations

Oak Creek Canyon we didn’t get to this hike on this trip

Broken Arrow Trail 12 minutes from condo. Didn’t get to this hike on this trip

Airport Mesa 19 minutes closer to Sedona Didn’t get to this hike on this trip

West Fork Oak Creek Trail Didn’t get to this trail on this trip

Red Rock State Park 36 minutes from condo closer to Sedona. Didn’t get this area on this trip

Golf at Sedona Golf Resort Will cost round $100 per person. We golfed here one day. It was a beautiful golf course.

Wild Flower looks good for lunch. close to Elote cafe looks like agood spot for quick lunch or sandwich/salads/lunch to go 12/89 restaurants in Sedona. Went there for lunch and it was excellent

Mesa Grill at Sedona Airport 22 out of 89 restaurants on Trip Advisor. great food and views. need a reservation. We had a reservation at 5:00. There is a beautiful overlook down the road and there is hiking in this area. Next time go earlier and hike before dinner.

Near our condo we enjoyed Clarks Market. The Stuffed Portobello mushrooms were great. We also liked Rocky Road Ice Cream Company.

Itinerary

Day 1 Denver to Santa Fe

(We were coming from Colorado)

Lunch reservation at Rancho de Chimayo outside of Taos. If you don’t want to wait it is important to have a reservation

Walked around Santa Fe when we arrived

Dinner reservation at La Fonda La Plazuela 7:00 PM

Day 2 Santa Fe to Sedona

Lunch stop in Winslow Arizona at La Posada. If you want to explore this area Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, then La Posada would be a good spot to spend the night. This is a historic Harvey Hotel. Once we arrived in Sedona checked into Condo and headed into Sedona to walk around.

Dinner Elote Cafe in Sedona. Dinner reservations are a must. A month out and I could only get a 5:00 reservation.
