Greek Chicken Marinade Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 4 lemons + zest of 1 lemon
  • 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour marinade over chicken breasts in a resealable bag or container. Make sure chicken is fully coated.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4–6 hours.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium-high heat until fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  5. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
