A Pisco Sour to Celebrate the Inca Trail

After finishing our 27-mile trek along the Inca Trail, we landed in Aguas Calientes tired, dusty, and completely over the moon. To celebrate, we ducked into Full House and ordered a round of pisco sours.
We managed to get a table right by the window, looking straight out over the river. The sound of the rushing water mixed with the buzz of the packed restaurant made the moment feel extra special. That first sip of the icy, citrusy pisco sour was absolute perfection—refreshing and just the right amount of sweet after days of trail food and coca tea.
Full House was packed with energy that night, and as soon as the drinks hit the table, I found myself wishing we’d stayed for dinner too. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, and it would have been the perfect way to round out our Inca Trail adventure. I would highly recommend a reservation to eat at this restaurant.
Instead, we lingered a while, soaking up the view and clinking glasses to an experience we’ll never forget. Sometimes it’s the little celebrations that make a trip—one cocktail, a great view, and that feeling of “we did it.”
